屋久島の大自然が授けてくれた小さな贈り物。THE TOMOMI AZUMA TRIOの新作「屋久島組曲」発売!
2009年7月22日。私の中に音楽が溢れだしたのです。凄い勢いで。自分でも抑制の利かないくらいに凄い勢い。急いで譜面に書きとめようとするのですが、どんどん溢れ出してくる音楽をすくい切れないくらいで、譜面を書きとめる手が追いつかないほどでした。その数時間で、屋久島組曲の1部から3部まで一気に書き上げました。屋久島の大自然はそんな限りなく広がっていくイメージと素晴らしい音楽を与えてくれました。これはきっと屋久島の大自然が私に授けてくれた小さな
贈り物だと思っています。さて、THE TOMOMI AZUMA TRIOと一緒に約40分間の屋久島の旅へLet’s Go!

大阪出身。19歳でエレキベースを初める。

当時からブラックミュージックに傾倒し数々のブルースバンドに参加。それをきっかけに1995年頃から現在に至るまで、妹尾隆一郎氏や塩次伸二氏、島田和夫氏、リクオ氏などの大御所ブルースマンやDr.Kyon氏(Ex.ボガンボス)とセッションを重ねる。

1998年頃から1年ほど岩田晶氏に師事。2001年頃からはジャズに傾倒しコントラバスも弾き始め自己のジャズユニットやバンド、セッションライブやサポートなどで関西のジャズライブハウスやカフェにてライブ活動を展開している。


ジャンルにとらわれない幅広い音楽性、安定したベースワークには定評があり注目のベーシストである。 ... more
